Dozefan is built to collect as little as possible. This policy explains exactly what is and is not collected.
The app
- No account, no advertising, no tracking. Dozefan has no ads and no advertising SDKs, never uses the advertising identifier (IDFA / Android Advertising ID), and does not sell or share personal data.
- Anonymous usage statistics — optional, off by default. The first time you open the app after setup we ask whether you would like to share anonymous usage statistics. Until you say yes, nothing is sent. If you agree, the app uses Google Analytics for Firebase (Google LLC) to record a few coarse events — for example that playback started and which sound was used, that a sleep timer was started and its length, that the paywall was viewed, that a purchase succeeded, that a mix was saved, and that onboarding finished — together with a random app-instance identifier and basic technical data such as app version, operating system version, device model, language and approximate country. The data cannot identify you, is not linked to an account (there is none), is not used for advertising, and is retained for a limited period. You can switch it off at any time in Settings → Anonymous usage statistics; switching it off stops collection and asks Google Analytics to reset the app-instance identifier. - Your content stays on your device. Your last mix, saved mixes, timer settings and preferences are stored locally (and may be included in your device's own backup).
- Sounds are generated on your device and work offline.
- Purchases are handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We receive no payment details and no personal information; the app only learns whether Dozefan Pro is active on your Apple ID / Google account.
- Notifications: Dozefan may show a local notification (such as a trial reminder or the playback notification on Android). These are created on your device and no data leaves it.
This website
The website sets no cookies and uses no analytics. Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, time, page requested) for up to 14 days for security and troubleshooting, then deletes them. The audio demo runs entirely in your browser.
Children
Dozefan is a tool for parents and caregivers. It does not ask for or knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children; the optional anonymous statistics contain no personal data.
